Learning to walk

It's funny how for the past year or so, you were waiting for the moment that they take their first steps, then all of a sudden they're off, and you wish you had been better prepared. They quickly master stopping, turning around corners, walking backwards and frighten the life out of you when they disappear out of sight in a split second.

Some babies walk before 12 months and some are quite content to sit watching until much later, but from the moment children start walking, they just can't seem to get enough.
