In the first interview since giving birth, Beyoncé revealed that she believes her daughter will be "just like any other kid" and that Jay-Z will not only be an "inspirational father" but will be doing his share of nappy changes.

The multi-award winning songstress told Star UK magazine that husband Jay-Z was right by her side during labour. "He would not have missed it for anything," Beyoncé gushed.

"He is a very protective and loyal guy by nature. He is a very protective husband, and since we found out I was pregnant I have seen the protective father in him... He is not only an inspirational artist, he is an inspirational husband. I know the next step on his journey is going to be being an inspirational father."

When questioned if Jay-Z will be changing nappies, Beyoncé said, "Of course he will. He is going to be a very hands-on father. He has already said publicly that providing isn't love. Love is being there. Love is doing the little things for your child."

There is no doubt that a newborn will affect each parent differently. Bonding, for many mothers is instant. "Nothing can describe the feeling," Beyoncé said. "You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can't be found."

Meanwhile proud father Jay-Z was busy recording the track 'Glory', an ode to his baby daughter that features the newborn cooing just two days after her birth. The song charted on Billboard's top 100 R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, making Blue Ivy Carter the youngest person ever to chart in Billboard history.

But both the new parents agreed on the level of safety needed when it came to security at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York where Blue Ivy was born. Beyoncé defended the accusations that her tight security had blocked parents from visiting their newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit.

"Security was very tight, but not just for the sake of it," she said. "It was for the security of our daughter."

With this level of fame and security, will Blue Ivy have a normal childhood? Beyoncé has stated that she thinks so. Even after reportedly receiving gifts valued at $1.5 million to adorn her three identical nurseries, according to Beyoncé Blue Ivy Carter will be just a normal kid.

"At home, she'll be part of a normal, loving family with a loving mom, a loving dad, a loving aunt and loving grandparents," Beyoncé said. "Just like any other kid."

This is just another example of lofty arrogant celebrities trying to fool the paying public that they're just like us. Agree with other bloggers...this baby will be brought up by nannies and trotted out for photo ops. She'll be more spoilt than Suri, if that's possible!
First of all beyonce and jay-z have worked hard to get where they are and if they have the great furtune to pass this down to their children then good on them. one less child in povity and on the welfair line, one less struggling family, one less neglected child. Good on them, they've come this far and can provide well, they diserve all the congrats they can get. And boo to all you for being haters and jealous.
Beyonce Sweety i like you and your music but if you think your child "will be just like any other kid" sure, she'll have 2 arms, 2 legs, eyes, toes and fingers etc but the rest- please! Back to Reality!
As if she will be like any other kid. He birth wasn't even normal. Who books out a whole wing for a delivery. Not a chance in hell this baby is going to be normal, stop kidding yourselves.
Uuummmm isn't that what Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes said about Suri..........
Of course Blue will be the same as any other kid. She will go into childcare at 3 months of age cos Mum and Dad HAVE to work to pay the bills. She will, obviously, attend a public school, and without a doubt, will get a job as soon as she can so as to teach her the value of money. SERIOUSLY, who are you kidding sweetheart. She'll have numerous Nannys, will be in the spot light at every opportunity and will NEVER - I repeat - NEVER, want for anything in her life. Come and live in mine and my beautiful daughters shoes for a week love, and then tell me it'll be the same!!!
Yeah Beyonce, your child will surely be like any other kid haha, next joke please
